About COMP

The Community of Older Music Professionals, Inc. (COMP), is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in 2022 by a group of middle Georgia musicians. What started as a simple lunch gathering has evolved into a thriving community with seven chapters across four states and more than 700 members!

COMP’s mission is to celebrate, serve, and showcase seasoned music professionals. Whether you're a full-time musician/vocalist/songwriter, or a professional weekend warrior or a music industry veteran, COMP provides a welcoming space for connection, collaboration, and fellowship.

To join, you must be a music professional (either musician/singer/songwriter or music industry veteran) over the age of 55. By the way, there are no fees or dues to be a COMP member. So come be a part of our expanding network and join us in preserving the rich history of music!
